To give you a reference, they’re somewhere between a snake and a mongoose ... and a panther.
I have witnessed this several times lately. I am not as fast as them, so I have decided to register for a child harness/leash thing. If your child is that fast in public, help preserve their life by using a leash. Or terrify them with tales of strangers murdering them so that they will not leave your side. Hey, I just got rid of my leash! If I'd known you wanted one I would have saved it for you! LOL.
I didn't use it but a few times. But if we lived in a more urban area I probably would have had them "on leash" all the time!
